Today we’re announcing that after three years of helping the eco-conscious community curb single-use packaging from take-aways and food delivery, we will be shutting down barePack’s Singapore operation on August 25th, 2022.
I would like to use this opportunity to say thank you. Without your support, we were not able to design the first in the world user flow that enables food delivered in reusable containers and work with giant delivery platforms such as GrabFood, Deliveroo, and foodpanda. This achievement has inspired many similar start-ups all around the world to work with their local food delivery platforms, hence saving thousands of unnecessary waste.
This is a clear example of how small one action of an individual like yours can have a much greater impact than we could imagine.
It’s our greatest regret not being able to continue our services in Singapore. We want to make this transition as smooth as possible for everyone who is barePack member.
If you subscribed for a monthly membership, please kindly return barePack items by July 31th, 2022 at our partner restaurants and cancel your membership accordingly.
If you are an annual member and you would like to claim the remaining of your subscription (Pro-rata basis from July 31st), kindly follow these steps:

Open barePack app
Choose “Send Feedback”
Select “Cancelation”
Select “Reasons for cancellation” and then choose “Pro-rata refund for annual membership”
If you want to let go of your subscription, there is no action required.
We keep barePack app and our customer services running until August 25th to assist with your requests.
